Il 6 ottobre a Brescia ATTHEW WATCHORN per parlare del BIM in UK

CLIENTS AND DESIGNERS: A DIGITAL DIALOGUE WORKSHOP #01 The workshop tries to explain how an UK advanced active client is effectively coping with Building Information Modelling (BIM). The UK Ministry of Justice (MoJ), a large lean and intelligent public client, procured and managed some major projects on a digitized manner, achieving some impressive results as far as quality, cost and time are concerned by means of collaborative contractual fra¬meworks. The UK Ministry of Justice, as an early governmental UK BIM Level 2 adopter, configured and defined a set of unprecedented documents to manage BIM-based information, namely the Employer’s Information Requirements (EIRs). The workshop aims to demonstrate how the transition towards a digitized construction industry might be achieved when exploiting some crucial cultural and organizational leverages. Thanks to the workshop, public bodies, designers, construction companies and researchers can gain a deep understand on how to effectively implement BIM, that is more and more required in national and international public tenders. 09.00 REGISTRATION 09.30 OPENING REMARKS Angelo Luigi Camillo Ciribini Full professor of Construction Project Management, DICATAM 10.00 INTRODUCTION Angelo Luigi Camillo Ciribini Full professor of Construction Project Management, DICATAM 10.30 -12.30 CLIENTS AND DESIGNERS: A DIGITAL DIALOGUE Matthew Watchorn MBA CBIFM MCIOB Head of Building Information Modelling, Ministry of Justice (UK) 12.30-13.30 DISCUSSION AND FINAL CONCLUSION Angelo Luigi Camillo Ciribini Full professor of Construction Project Management, DICATAM Marzia Bolpagni PhD Candidate, Politecnico di Milano
