Applicazione di metodi semi-empirici allo studio dell'impatto di scavi in contesti densamente urbanizzati in india.
L’esempio di metro Bangalore
The study of deformations induced by the excavation of a tunnel, at the stage of preliminary evaluations on the building risk assessment, is based on empirical relations. These ones are widely confirmed by the direct experience of several projects and have been extensively validated in literature since many years. They allow an evaluation of the dimension and the shape of the subsidence basin due to excavation. However, in order to be as more consistent as possible with the geology and with the geotechnical characteristics of the ground, an integration of such a methodology with numerical analyses was developed. Thus, a more precise and coherent series of risk analyses were carried out on the buildings interested by the excavation of the Bangalore UG1 Metro Line.
